From a Home Kitchen to Bank Road
Ganga Bakery's story doesn't start with a bakery. It starts with Atul Kumar's grandmother, who used to bake and sell biscuits from home — small batches, sold door to door in Old Katra.
Atul and his brother took that small beginning further, setting up a shop to supply their biscuits wholesale across the city. What was once a home business slowly turned into something bigger.
In the year 1993, Atul Kumar opened Ganga Bakery on Bank Road — turning three generations of baking into a proper neighborhood bakery. Over thirty years later, it's still run the same way: by the family, for the neighborhood.

What We Still Believe In
100% Eggless, Always
Every cake, every pastry — completely eggless, made in a dedicated vegetarian kitchen. Not a trend for us, it's how we've always baked.

Freshness, Daily
Nothing is baked to sit on a shelf. What you buy today was baked today, fresh from the oven to the display.

A Neighborhood Bakery
We're not trying to be everywhere. We're trying to be the bakery Old Katra has trusted for 30+ years.

Run by the Family, Still
Ganga Bakery is owned and run by Atul Kumar himself — no corporate structure, no franchise, just one person who's been doing this since 1993.
That's part of why customers keep coming back: the same hands, the same standards, for over three decades.
